Huge experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, etc.
Deep knowledge of statistical analysis.
Solid experience in project management.
Great proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point, and immense ability to operate fax machine as well as other basic office equipment.
Great working knowledge of MRP.
Demonstrated record of effective negotiation skills and supplier management.
Exceptional ability to react to change productively and handle other tasks as required.
Develop and manage tools in conjunction with vendors to track packaging design projects for the Client, to include clamshells, artwork, etc.
Support the development and execution of package design timeline activities, to include reporting features and corrective action development on missed deliverables.
Negotiate the vendor agreements, tracking, and reporting.
Administer Vendor Report Cards.
Manage Material/Package requirements for new and existing customer projects/launches.
Determine whether new products are sourced in-region or in the lowest cost.
Identify improvement areas and proactively enact process changes to better streamline packaging requirements.
Serve as escalation point for any client or regional Rainbow Electronics packaging design problems.
Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships to effectively process new packaging introductions.
Host periodic internal meetings with all regional solution centers to identify all packaging challenges, ensure consistency, and share best practices.
Provide regional solution center packaging design expertise, guidance, and support.
Interact with Client management team to provide assessments of client internal performance relative to design information flow and adherence to process.
Track Rainbow Electronics progress to established client design timelines and maintain the metrics.
Assist in the creation of global work instructions that support required SLAs and client SOW.
