Archival Record Clerk
Pick up boxes of archival records insuring that each box contains a Record Control Form attached.
Work with user agencies in defining the procedures required for preparing records to store in the Records Center.
Keep information log on records received and retrieved from the record storage facility.
Help in maintaining an inventory of records and their location.
Advise superior or lead worker when storage and retrieval activities do not follow a prescribed procedure.
Operate a pallet truck, load a flat bed cart or a hand truck with boxes of records weighing from 22 to 55 pounds.
Push a flat bed truck loaded with boxes of records fro m one County facility to another.
Control transfers of boxes of documents to and from the Microfilm Unit.
Participate in retrieval and return of documents, delivering to user departments and re-filing when documents are returned.
Participate in periodic inventory of records.
Perform light custodial work to clean storage areas or facilities.
