    • Book reservations for dining rooms (transient and hotel guests) and gift certificates.
    • Answer guests questions or concerns, either on the phone or in person.
    • Offer customer an array of hospitality services to increase the value of the sale.
    • Print out guest connection sheets for dining room captains to fulfill guest's requests.
    • Communicate daily reservations to kitchen & bakeshop to cover culinary and dietary needs.
    • Notify special requests to kitchen, bakeshop, front desk, concierge, F & B manager, captains and coordinator.
    • Process electronic reservations and use fax.
    • Make sure files; i.e. gift certificate sheets are kept up-to-date daily.
    • Prepare, order and track gift card sales for packages dining rooms, or universal certificates.
    • Conduct sale of certificates by phone, person, mail or fax.
    • Daily track certificates in Quicken to include bank deposits and summary to accounting. Upsell to include cakes, wines, flowers.
    • Monitor overflow of business including tours, advises dining rooms to make alternate plans if overbooked recommend changes in reservation system, troubleshoot, and generate ideas to help set and improve policies and standards.
    • Recommend the purchase of new equipment and make decisions concerning equipment maintenance and contact vendors in dining rooms service.
    • Help direct guests if a problem arises.
