Examine the records and accounts of depository and non-depository financial institutions to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Examine collateral to loans to determine its value.
Reconcile balances on deposit and obtain confirmation of balances companies.
Examine all repossessions for proper compliance with rights of redemption, accounting of sale proceeds and determination as to a bona-fide sale.
