Engine Testing Supervisor
Prepare reference fuel blends in conformance with American Society for Testing Materials.
Make daily and periodic inspection of test engines.
Make necessary adjustments to bring test engine to standard operating condition.
Adjust knockmeter and detonation meter for standard knock intensity.
Determine proper bracketing of reference fuels.
Train other employees.
Perform cleaning of combustion chamber.
Perform carbon blasting of cylinder; removal and reconditioning of cylinder; valve and valve-seat overhaul; and eemoval and cleaning of piston and piston rings.
