Develop designs and make tailored garments, such as suits, topcoats, overcoats, and other dress clothing, applying principles of garment design, construction, and styling.
Confer with customer to determine type of material and garment style desired.
Measure customer for size and record measurements for use in preparing patterns and making garment.
Develop designs for garments or copy existing designs.
Draw individual pattern for garment or alter standard pattern to fit customer's measurements.
