Milwaukee, WI - In the midst of the summer job search, CollegeGrad.com, the #1 Entry Level Job Site, releases its quarterly listing of the Top 25 cities for entry level job openings. While summer may not be the peak of the college recruiting season, the list during this time still accounts for more than 20,000 entry level job openings in 16 states. The list is available online at www.CollegeGrad.com/topcities and includes links to job postings for each city.

New York and Los Angeles once again top the list for cities with the most entry level job openings at one and two respectively. Washington, DC and Chicago, IL place in the top 5 for the first time at three and four. San Francisco finished at number five.

New York, the largest city on the list, accounts for about 2,700 entry level jobs, while Los Angeles accounts for about 2,500 jobs. Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami, Houston and Phoenix round out the top ten. Together, the Top 10 cities account for 13,500 entry level jobs.

Riverside, CA and Portland, OR are new additions to the list, with about 400 and 300 jobs respectively.

"It's important for entry level job seekers to take note of cities with booming job markets and remain open to relocating to those areas," said Brian Krueger, President of CollegeGrad.com. "Being willing to relocate can open up significant opportunities that may not be available in their local area."

Entry level job seekers consistently answer that call. In annual surveys, CollegeGrad.com has found that entry level job seekers' willingness to relocate hovers around 90%.

But before taking the leap, Krueger advises considering additional factors. "Understanding the local cost of living is an important consideration when deciding to relocate," said Krueger. "It can be particularly useful in salary negotiations, when comparing similar jobs in different cities."

Krueger also recommends that job seekers research the population density, climate, traffic, local taxes, the city's overall culture, and individual company cultures. "Finding a mutual fit between employer and job seeker is the key to a successful job search. The right metro area, the right company within that metro area, and the right department within that company are all factors that are just as important to consider as the job title."
