Job Description .
Outside Sales / Territory Manager
Location:
Candidate will work from a home based office within the territory. Ideal location is within a day trip of Greater Cleveland, Ohio area.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and a combination of salary and commission.
Job Environment:
High Growth Heavy Equipment wear parts Manufacturer and Distributor located in the Greater Cleveland, OH area is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to be assigned Ohio and several other States. Customers are primarily the State, County and City Government.
Functions/Responsibilities:
New Business Development - Be a visionary to identify and pursue new business opportunities through new and existing products, markets, and customers.
Sales to existing customers 20%
Sales to new customers 60%
Product support to customers 20%
Requirements:
Must have:
1. Business to business outside sales experience.
2. Good mechanical aptitude.
3. Desire to travel overnight 60%.
4. High energy person who can work in a fast paced high growth environment.
5. Self starter with ability to work from home based office to plan, organize and perform all duties with minimal supervision.
6. Non Smoker.
Would like:
1. Experience in heavy equipment, automotive or truck markets.
2. Experience selling into the State, County or City Government sectors.
3. 4 year college degree.
