Founded in the early 1900s, this healthcare system encompasses a main hospital on two campuses in Fargo, a regional hospital in MN & many clinics & other facilities throughout their 250 mile service area. It is the largest employer in ND with over 5,900 full-time staff. MeritCare Hospital houses a total of 583 beds on the two campuses. It provides trauma & emergency care, heart care, pediatrics, surgical services, orthopedics, rehabilitation & a full range of other primary & specialized treatments, programs & services to meet the medical needs of both inpatients & outpatients.
