Experienced carpenter wanted for full-time, year-round position in residential remodeling with Preservation Renovation, Inc. Familiarity with and appreciation of older homes is a definite plus. This position requires an excellent carpenter who can take charge and get the job done. Must be very good at trim and finish work-both interior and exterior. Many of the older homes we remodel are in the popular Hillsdale area, which is known for its turn-of-the-century Victorian homes with intricate dentil molding and ornate Gingerbread trim.
In addition to remodeling, you'll serve as lead carpenter on complete room additions, from start to finish. You'll organize the job, order the materials, schedule subcontractors, and make sure the client is pleased.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in residential work and have your own truck and tools. Preservation Renovation pays very competitive wages and offers excellent benefits including health insurance and 401k. We also give a generous tool allowance every six months to help our craftsmen purchase and maintain tools.
