AgriCon is an international specialist in agricultural consulting. We work with agri-product producers and distributors to determine market needs, pricing, and international distribution opportunities. We currently seek a Staff Economist for our corporate headquarters.
Job duties include market research, statistical analysis, the development of economic market models, trend analysis, forecasting, and report generation. Also will work with clients to interpret data as it applies to specific market segments.
Qualified candidate must have an advanced degree in Economics or Business and a minimum of 7 years in a related position. Must be familiar with international markets; knowledge of eastern Europe and Asia especially helpful. Also must be able to use current computer tools for trend analyses and statistical reports. Excellent writing skills and the ability to gather and interpret data are essential.
Minimum salary $65,000. Plus a complete benefits package including medical, dental, and life insurance, and a 401k profit sharing plan. Non-smoking office environment. Some international travel. Full relocation package available.
