Able Labs, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Chemical Company, is the world's leading supplier of specialty adhesives and coatings for use in semiconductor assembly. We are currently seeking an Environmental Scientist for our corporate headquarters.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 3 years recent experience. Must be knowledgeable about SCAQMD and Cal/EPA issues. Also needs to be computer proficient, with strong organizational and oral/written communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Evaluate product and plant environmental issues.
* Plan and direct activities to solve environmental concerns.
* Develop procedures, equipment, and techniques to ensure
safety and performance.
* Insure company compliance with all environmental regulatory
restrictions.
* Supervise a staff of technicians.
* Manage all data collection files and mandatory forms
processing.
You must be a self-motivated, independent thinker who can achieve high expectations in a fast-paced, high-technology environment. You will interact will all levels of management, as well as external government inspectors and vendors.
