With sales nearing $15 million and over 75 store locations, Building Lumber Company is a nationally recognized supplier of quality building materials specifically targeted to professional contractors. We currently need a highly skilled sales management professional to provide strong leadership and account management support for our sales centers in a specific district.
Will also assist with the coordination of national marketing promotions and sales incentive programs, operations management priorities, and all responsibilities for staff hiring, development, training, and performance. Plus, the District Sales Manager has full accountability for acquiring new business, expanding existing business, and growing market share according to annual revenue plans. Expect frequent overnight travel.
The right candidate will be an enthusiastic team leader who demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and motivational skills, as well as a strong background in all areas of sales and marketing. Minimum of 3 years previous experience managing a sales force. Account management, analytical, and personal computer skills also desired. If you know wood, that's good too! Your background in a construction related industry is a real plus.
