Spread the Word, a national health and human services company serving as a clearinghouse for healthcare information on a variety of topics, needs an experienced writer/coordinator. The position combines information and communication.
Responsibilities:
* Developing content, including interviewing authorities and
researchers to write articles.
* Edit information from outside sources.
* Disseminate information through both print & electronic
mediums.
Requirements:
* Thorough knowledge of healthcare required (RN preferred).
* Experienced in desktop publishing as well as converting
publications to formats including ASCII, HTML, PDF for
dissemination via the Internet and CD-ROM.
* Familiarity with WordPerfect 6.0.
* Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
Spread the Word works directly with many of the nation's leading medical and research institutions. You'll work directly with our in-house Information Systems Manager, and have the latest technologies at your fingertips. Salary is $60,000 with extensive benefits including health/dental/life and profit-sharing. Relocation assistance will be provide.
