Sound Decisions, a music emporium, is searching for a cashier who can march to the beat of our drums. You will be responsible for opening and/ or closing the store on a daily basis, greeting customers, completing sales transactions and balancing at closing. Knowledge of music helpful, but not required. We offer an extensive selection of CDs and cassettes, ranging from rock to Bach. We also serve as a major outlet for tickets to concerts in Seattle. Ours is a fast-paced retail environment, so you've got to be able to work under pressure without missing a beat.
To join our band, all you need is 2 years cash handling experience and an upbeat attitude. Experience with a computerized point-of-sale system is preferred. We offer a competitive salary, time and a half for overtime and/or holidays, two consecutive days off each week, and two weeks vacation after the first year. Medical coverage is provided. You'll also get a great employee discount, so you can expand your personal collection.
Sound Decisions is located in the Market Mall, so parking is free. You're also near popular shopping and eateries for fun lunch breaks.
