We're looking for a Trade Show/Events Manager who has experience, energy, and an eye for dynamic visual presentation. You've been doing this long enough to have established industry contacts and an intimate knowledge of what it takes to coordinate events on-site and long distance. In this key role in our Marketing Dept., you will:
* Coordinate all large, off-site corporate meetings, handling
including space, menus, room set-up.
* Develop the annual trade show strategy and corresponding
budget proposal.
* Negotiate all contracts for booth space and services.
* Process all show-related invoices.
* Work with the external booth vendor to ensure proper design,
production, and maintenance.
* Oversee group travel arrangements to major events.
* Guarantee all product shipments to various events.
* Prepare all booth personnel with pre-event training and
materials.
* Work on-site for show set-up and tear-down.
This hands-on position requires a quick-thinker who can manage dozens of details with great accuracy. Must be able to work with all levels of management and present an open, friendly personality to customers, suppliers, sales reps, and hospitality industry workers. Annual calendar of activities includes at least 35-40 major events; ability to organize and prioritize on tight deadlines is essential.
