A fast-growing business publisher specializing in cutting edge management and marketing practices seeks a bright, self-starter for newly created position in Corporate Marketing Department.
The Promotions Manager will work with sales managers, product managers, publishers, and operations managers to design and implement trade and consumer promotions. We create a variety of programs, including rebates, discounts, giveaways, sweepstakes, bundles, and loyalty programs.
Will develop concepts, budgets, activities, schedules, and program evaluations. Will direct the creative copy and design of campaign-related marketing materials including brochures, direct mail, advertising, point-of-purchase, and sales support materials. Will also coordinate special packaging, handle production, inventory and distribution issues, and work with media relations, trade show representatives, and other marketing professionals to ensure premium exposure and consistency of message.
To qualify, these skills are necessary:
* Thorough knowledge of creative production process.
* Experience in managing creative copy and design resources.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in developing integrated
marketing plans.
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
* Retail sales and direct marketing background.
* Strong budget and cost/benefit analysis skills.
* Superior oral presentation and promotion writing ability.
* Deadline-driven, with personal commitment to deliver what is
promised.
