The Inside Agency is a small creative shop which provides support to in-house communications agencies. We're always working on a crisis deadline, with customers who won't settle for mediocre design or copy. As Creative Director, your challenge will be to manage the chaos for complete customer satisfaction.
Working closely with our account execs (who have a tendency to promise anything to get a commission), you will take control of all projects as soon as they enter the building. With your outstanding delegation skills, you won't have any trouble passing the projects around to our award-winning team of copywriters and designers. You'll motivate, inspire, and drive them to generate concepts that meet the client's expectations, budgets, and deadlines. You'll review all work before it goes back to the AE for presentation to the customer (sometimes we'll even unchain you from your desk so you can present ideas).
You know all about computer design (Mac, of course) and printing technology. You've got plenty of hands-on design experience, you know good copy when you read it, and you can set a schedule with conviction. But more than that, you know how copy and design should work together for optimum results. Your portfolio covers a broad range of materials-from logos and letterhead to sales brochures and advertising to packaging and direct mail.
