Wilder & Sons, a growing whole distributor located in Park 200 just off I-65 has an immediate opening for a Director of Warehouse/Distribution Operations. It's a big job-ours is a 300,000 sq. ft and 150,000+ SKU operation. We are currently investing $1.5 million to modernize our facilities and computerize our operations. Overtime may be required to get all systems up and running smoothly.
You'll be work closely with the Freight Traffic Manager and be responsible for overseeing all shipping/receiving operations. You will also be expected to maximize warehouse layouts and manage all systems and functions to ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements:
* Computer literacy.
* BS/BA degree.
* 2 years experience running an operation of similar size.
* Working knowledge of process/procedure writing.
* Computer literacy.
* Ability to convert from manual system to Bar Coding/RF based
system for receiving, order filling and inventory control.
* Experience in union environment.
