Green Serene, a major national insurer and Fortune 1000 company, seeks an aggressive, creative insurance professional to help us pioneer new products. Staying one step ahead of the evolving healthcare market, we are continually developing healthcare products marketed under the Green Secure name. We now have an opening for a permanent, full-time, high profile Product Consultant who will report to our VP of operations.
The Product Consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing various types of plans. You'll work on teams of employees from different departments (claims underwriting, risk management, etc.). You will be responsible for policy forms, endorsements and rate/rule manuals. You will also prepare filing submissions, monitor status to ensure legal compliance, and assist in underwriting audits.
Requirements:
* Experience in product development.
* Knowledge of filing requirements & procedures.
* Understanding of various insurance coverages.
* Underwriting experience a plus.
