Great opportunity for an experienced technical writer who wants to do his bit in an innovative environment. Infoware, Inc. is a rapidly growing, international software development company. We specialize in software for the financial and telecommunications industries. We currently have more than 100 employees and sales of more than $15 million. Our QRA, EAD and PER programs lead the market in the financial industry. In telecommunications, our recently introduced SPE software is making waves!
We are currently looking for an experienced technical writer to join our documentation group. This writer will be design and produce top-notch technical documentation associated with the application development and system administration of our software products. Writing must communicate clearly to a broad target audience ranging from system administrators to software developers.
We have to get technical!
Qualifications include:
* A degree in English or a related field
* 3 years of experience
* Knowledge of UNIX and desktop publishing
* Understanding of the documentation process
* Excellent writing and interpersonal skills. (Yes, you'll work
closely with some real techies!)
* Familiarity with a programming language is highly desired.
