If you're committed to keeping out the hacks who continually try to get into sophisticated systems, this position is for you. Cardco, a leader in providing electronic transaction processing services, is looking for an information security specialist to ensure our confidential data stays that way! As Senior Information Security Consultant, you'll develop and administer security standards and procedures for multiple platforms in diverse systems environments.
Responsibilities include assisting our I/S department and our clients with risk analysis and implementation of techniques and products to secure data. You will also be expected to ensure compliance with existing standards, laws and regulations, and advise management about proposed measures. You'll have the full support of management because security and confidentiality are vital in our business. If electronic transactions are to become the norm, as predicted, consumers must be confident that their financial information is inaccessible to unauthorized personnel.
Applicants must have a BS in Computer Science or related field, and 4 years' security experience including RACF administration. Security experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, software communications and network protocols is a definite plus.
