X Y & Z, Inc., an aggressive, national communications company, is seeking a Manager of Finance for our Des Moines branch. This is a demanding position. You will supervise all financial/accounting functions in the Des Moines operating area, and have a staff of nine experienced professionals. Responsibilities include analyzing and improving the profitability of the unit. X Y & Z has enjoyed phenomenal growth, but the industry is extremely competitive. You will be required to respond quickly to significant changes in revenue and/or profitability, review contributing factors, and recommend action. You will submit regular reports to our home office in Houston.
Requirements:
* 6 years experience in finance, accounting and matrix management
* Supervisory experience
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or
CPA/CMA preferred
* Working knowledge of business case development
* Prior experience in a communications industry helpful
