Alden Engineering, a leading designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty motors for industry, seeks an experienced technical writer. You'll write installation, service and maintenance manuals for motors which are used in a variety of applications. Must understand complex, highly technical equipment and be able to write instructions for maintaining it clearly and concisely.
Requirements:
* Technical background and previous technical writing
experience
* Hands-on knowledge of engineering specs and blueprints
* Familiarity with DOS/Windows
* Ability to edit photos and CAD drawings
* Proficient with Corel, Aldus, Autocad and Word 6.0
