Lytical Information Services has an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst. We are seeking a qualified, experienced professional with a solid background in data processing.
We are an IBM DOS/VSE mainframe shop in transition to an Open Systems, Client/Server environment. Being in transition, we still need to support existing mainframe applications until they are replaced. This requires solid skills in structured analysis, database concepts, COBOL, CICS, VSAM file structure, on-line and batch programming.
This position calls for an individual with strong analytical, oral and written communication skills who can assist client departments in the assessment of business functions, procedures and policies. Also required to design and write system specifications for new computer systems, or enhancements to existing systems. The ability to write detailed design and coding specifications, system documentation, scheduling, computer programming, testing and troubleshooting is a must.
Skills in SQL database languages, UNIX, Open Systems, and Client/Server systems design and programming are a definite plus.
