This team-focused producer seeks candidates with demonstrated talent and drive for an on-staff Software Engineer.

Responsible for product quality improvement, maintaining product hardware test procedures, developing real-time system software, and providing ongoing technical communications with customers.

Requires a BSCE or BSEE and a minimum of 5 years experience in microprocessor based motion control. Proficiency in Intel and Zilog family based hardware and software design, multitasking embedded controllers, programmable devices (PAL, FPGA, PROM) programming and brushless motor control circuit design. Must be fluent in C or C++ and assembler. Candidates will possess understanding of GMP, FDA instrumentation requirements, and DSP based motion controllers a plus. Commitment to quality, excellent communication and organizational skills required. Applied Innovations has more than 40 engineers on staff, so you won't be working in isolation-you'll be exploring the latest technologies with your peers. You'll also have the opportunity to attend important presentations and symposiums at Northwestern University to ensure that you stay ahead in our fast-moving business.
