DigiMed Electronics, an international supplier of medical diagnostic imaging equipment, has a challenging professional opportunity for a Field Service Engineer in our Austin office. Your territory will cover five states, including 150 accounts in major metropolitan areas.
Working independently, you will perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on state-of-the-art medical diagnostic imaging equipment in the specialized areas of Vascular and Cardiovascular systems. You will serve as the front-line liaison between DigiMed and its clients, handling all daily contacts as well as after-hours service and emergency calls.
To qualify, you must have excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to work flexible hours (including weekends). You must have a solid knowledge of electronic systems and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). A valid driver's license and a minimum of two years of experience in the medical field is mandatory.
