AAA Engineering, a world leader in the manufacturing and sale of monitoring supplies for the medical industry as well as consumable media and supplies used to produce graphic information for commercial and industrial applications, has an opening for an Electrical Engineer at its manufacturing facility located in Elmira, New York.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing production processes and equipment which allow reliable, safe manufacture of high quality electromechanical products. He/She will provide manufacturing with technical support in the investigation and solution of problems with production processes and equipment. The Electrical Engineer will also support the design and development of new electromechanical products.
The Electrical Engineer will investigate and implement solutions to manufacturing difficulties with existing processes and equipment, and will modify processes and/or equipment to improve manufacturing reliability, productivity, and quality.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise and recommendations regarding electrical/electronic production issues. He/She will communicate with the Engineering department regarding design consideration for improved automation potential, and to provide product design support. He/She will also establish and maintain operating and set-up instructions for production equipment.
Position Criteria:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical
Engineering is required.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial practice.
* Knowledge of electrical design, production, and testing
methods. Practical experience in process
design/optimization for electromechanical devices.
* Knowledge of electrical wiring, programmable controllers,
computer programming language.
* Ability to apply scientific process and creativity in
solving manufacturing problems.
* Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
* Team leadership experience is highly desirable, with
good interpersonal communication skills.
* Must possess computer application skills.
* Willing to relocate if necessary.
