Lincoln High School in the Roxbury area has openings for teachers certified in German, Math, English and Science. We serve students in grades 9-12 in an older, culturally diverse area of Rockville. Within the last three years, we have implemented innovative programs, including team teaching and offering awards for academic achievement. (Concerned area businesses donate the awards. That is indicative of the increasing support Lincoln High School is getting from the community.)
As a result these programs and the commitment of our teachers, the average SAT scores at Lincoln have gone up 19 points in Verbal and 16 points in Math. We want dedicated teachers who will help us continue this rapid improvement.
Salary is $28,401-39,305 depending upon education and experience. The Rockville School District offers excellent benefits. Health insurance options include traditional coverage, HMO or PPO, or a Medical Savings Account. You also get fully funded retirement. No relocation assistance is offered.
