You must be eligible for Arkansas licensure with an endorsement in Library Media NK-12. Master's degree and experience are preferred. Must have hands-on experience with computers and other high-tech equipment.
Miles Public School system encompasses 3 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and one high school. You will supervise the library functions in all facilities, with full-time, experienced staff assisting. The libraries aren't just books; videos and CD-ROMs are included. With input from the staff at the individual schools, you will be responsible for budgeting and buying. We are not looking for a cataloguer or book stacker-we're looking for an individual who wants to open children's eyes to a world of learning opportunities.
