WESLACO - Help is on the way for anyone who lost their job because of Hurricane Dolly.
Federal officials have approved an emergency grant for Texas workers. The Labor Department will send $7.35 million that will be handed out by the Texas Workforce Commission.
The money will go to 15 Texas counties including Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Starr counties.
The money will be used to create temporary work in assisting with clean up and recovery efforts from Hurricane Dolly.
