Bankrupt auto-parts maker Collins & Aikman said its Morristown plastics plant will close later this month, idling the final 240 workers.

The Southfield, Mich.-based supplier said Monday the shutdown has been delayed several weeks to accommodate customers Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.

Collins & Aikman said it is trying to sell several factories in other states but did not hold out hope for the facility just east of Indianapolis, its only Indiana plant.
