The buyout bid by rival InBev NV has pushed Anheuser-Busch to cut its salaried workforce by as much as 15%. The St. Louis brewer expects the downsizing to boost profits and the company's share price. Anheuser-Busch plans to cut as much as $1 billion from its annual costs, the company said last week after rejecting InBev's $46.3 billion takeover offer.
