Humana To Add More Than 530 Ariz. JobsAssociated Press

PHOENIX - Health benefits company Humana (NYSE:HUM) Inc. said Friday it plans to add more than 530 new jobs in Arizona to staff two call centers.
The employees will work at a new telemarketing call center in Phoenix and a new Tempe, Ariz. facility.
The Phoenix call center will support Humana's Medicare Advantage benefit plans and senior products, while the Tempe center supports its RightSource Home Delivery mail-order prescription service.
Both centers are expected to be fully staffed in January, with 330 workers at the Phoenix location and 200 employees at the Tempe site. Humana already has 665 employees based in Arizona.
The company has more than 4.6 million Medicare members nationally, including more than 79,400 in Arizona.
Shares of Louisville, Ky.-based Humana rose $1.01 to $66.46 in afternoon trading.
