Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher is expected to announce Monday that Toyota Boshoku America is bringing a headquarters to Northern Kentucky.
The initial employment will be 100 new full-time jobs, according to documents filed with the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority. Ninety-five of them are expeted to be held by Kentucky residents with an average wage ranging from $13.46 to $43.26 per hour.
The Finance Authority has given preliminary approval to tax credits of $2.1 million for the project.
The exact location isn't being disclosed, although the documents indicate it will be in Kenton County. As of Noon on Friday, no formal lease had been signed.
Toyota Boshoku American is a supplier to Toyota, which already has its North America Manufacturing Headquarters in Erlanger.
The supplier makes car interior and automotive filter products. It's North American headquarters is currently located in Novi, Michigan.
