A majority of the responders to last week’s Business Pulse survey like their jobs.

We asked, “If you had the chance to do it again, would you still pick your current career?” and 46 percent said “I enjoy my job,” 37 percent said “Never again” and 16 percent were undecided.

Some of your comments:

• “While I like what I do, I wouldn’t have said that four years ago (I have a better manager now). I’m trying to teach my kids to have a better approach. It’s tough, though, at 18 or 20 to visualize the future beyond graduation.”

• “I would have liked a career as a teacher.”

• “I would have answered ‘no way’ six years ago. So I changed careers.”

• “Life is good.”

“While I would do generally the same work I am doing, I might take a few different paths. No serious complaints but there are some things I wish I had known and done.”

• “It’s never too late to switch careers. At the age of 47, I plan on doing something much different with less money — but I think I’ll enjoy it much more than the daily grind here at my work.”
