Metalcraft To Close Plant, Cut 121 JobsThe Business Journal of the Greater Triad Area

Metalcraft of Mayville Inc. notified Greensboro officials on Wednesday that it will close its Caindale Drive plant by September, cutting 121 jobs.
In a letter to Mayor Yvonne Johnson, required by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, Metalcraft President and CEO Martin Gallun said the layoffs will begin Aug. 17.
“Afterwards, all employees will be laid off as activities throughout the facility are shut down,” which will likely be complete by Sept. 15, Gallun wrote.
