Adidas Expansion Will Bring 1,800 New JobsWYFF 4

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -- Adidas is expanding in Spartanburg County, and it will mean hundreds of new jobs for the county.
Adidas expects to employ about 1,800 people at a new distribution complex by the year 2010.
Most of those positions come from the new facility. The rest will be transfers from an existing distribution center in the county.
The 1.9 million square foot complex is to be built near the intersection of Interstate 85 and State Road 129 in the Wellford area.
