Wal-Mart is hiring 250 people for a new Super Wal-Mart scheduled to open soon.
The company has indicated the store will open this fall, but has not disclosed the location.
In it’s announcement, it said the jobs would begin next month, according to a statement.
Application for these positions -- most of them full-time -- are being accepted now, according to store manager, Steven Waddell. Applications are being taken at a temporary hiring center Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wal-Mart says.
A temporary hiring office is located at 851 Congaree Road, just off Roper Mountain Road.
"The majority of associates will begin work in September to help prepare" for the store’s grand opening, the company said.
The positions will offer a 401(k) plan, profit-sharing, health care, life insurance and store discounts, according to a statement.
