McKesson Specialty Care Solutions Hiring 200 in Scottsdale

McKesson Specialty Care Solutions is adding up to 200 full-time positions at its call center in Scottsdale.

Openings include customer service representatives, insurance reimbursement specialists, case managers, and some supervisor and quality assurance positions.

McKesson’s call center supports manufacturer-sponsored patient assistance programs that provide savings on specialty drugs for patients.

Pay starts at $10 an hour, varying depending on experience and skill levels. The company’s benefits package includes paid time off; access to medical, vision and dental coverage; and as training and education reimbursement opportunities.

McKesson was named among the Valley’s “Best Workplaces for Commuters” by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for its participation in the Maricopa County Trip Reduction Program. As part of this program, McKesson offers transit passes to employees, as well as incentives for carpools.

McKesson Specialty Care Solutions is a business unit of San Francisco-based McKesson Corp., which employs 32,000 people worldwide. McKesson Specialty Care employs 700 people at the Galleria Corporate Centre in Scottsdale.

McKesson Corp. also operates a distribution center in Tolleson.

For the quarter ended June 30, McKesson reported $288 million in net income on $26.7 billion in revenue. That’s up from $235 million in net income on $26.7 billion in revenue for the same quarter in 2008. Its stock closed at $54.19 on Aug. 10, closer to its 52-week high of $60.45 than its 52-week low of $28.27.
