Valley hospitals are making a strong push to land more doctors as a result of growing demand.
Banner Health created a group practice to put its 138 physicians under the same management umbrella. Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has gone from 30 on-staff physicians to about 150 within the past couple of years.
