ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Comcast announced today that it will hire 56 new employees throughout New Mexico in the next few months to meet the ever-growing demand for its products and services. To date, Comcast has hired employees for 88 new positions in the State in 2007 -- more than a 165% increase from last year at this time.
Comcast continues to offer entertainment and communications products and services that customers want, such as high-speed Internet, digital cable with video on demand, digital video recorders and high-definition programming. Later this year, Comcast will launch Comcast Digital Voice, which will offer customers digital-quality phone service with unlimited direct-dial local and domestic long-distance calling, Web access to voicemail, E911 service and numerous popular calling features.
