WATERLOO, IA - The Isle of Capri will begin taking applications next week for about 800 full- and part-time jobs that will be available when the company opens a hotel and casino next spring in Waterloo.
A company spokeswoman says a variety of jobs will be available but that some will be filled early to allow for training.
The spokeswoman says career and job fairs may be set up later and that an online application process may be established on the company's Web site.
The Isle of Capri will open a temporary office in the Crossroads Center in Waterloo to begin accepting applications and to provide information about the jobs.
The project includes a 35-thousand-square-foot casino, three restaurants, a 200-room hotel and one-thousand parking spaces. A planned expansion will include a night club, spa and resort pool.
