Sony Plant May Soon Be Hiring Hundreds

New Stanton - Hundreds of new jobs may soon be coming to Westmoreland County.
As Sony consolidates its US operations, the Japanese electronics giant may add several hundred jobs at its TV assembly plant in New Stanton over the next few years.
While a spokesperson for the company would not comment on the specific details of its future hiring plans, a state senator estimates that as many as 500 jobs could soon become available at the Sony plant.
