Goshen -- Recreational vehicle manufacturer Keystone RV Co. has started to hire the first of more than 300 workers it plans to add.

Keystone had a record year in 2004 when sales topped $1 billion, and since March 2004 has added 680 workers, said Senior Vice President Don Clark.

Goshen-based Keystone offers trailers under 16 brand names and is a subsidiary of Thor Industries Inc., the nation's largest RV maker.

A 60,000-square-foot plant is scheduled to open in Goshen by mid-March.
