A hiring spree in Detroit? Believe it. The MGM Grand Casino says it plans to hire 1,000 workers for its new hotel, entertainment and gambling palace. The casino has openings in areas including administration, finance, hospitality, table games and marketing.
Interviews will begin later this month. Applicants can request an interview on MGM's website. MGM's new 17-story home will include 400 hotel rooms and 100,000 square feet of gaming space. The 765 million-dollar project is expected to open in October. Both the MotorCity and Greektown casinos are expanding their current facilities and adding hotel space.
