Paccar Begins First Hiring Phase For Columbus PlantThe Associated Press

COLUMBUS, MS - Truck engine manufacturer Paccar Inc. will be accepting job applications next week.
Officials said the company will accept applications for mechanics, tool and die makers and machinists for two weeks beginning April 14.
Applications will be accepted only online at http://www.paccarenginejobs.com.
Officials said a high school diploma or the equivalent is required and immediate travel - to the Netherlands, Germany and locations in the United States - will be required of the new employees.
The $400-million Paccar facility at Golden Triangle Regional Airport will produce 12.9-liter and 9.2-liter diesel engines for Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF vehicles.
