RICHMOND, VA - Virginia will receive more than $41 million from the federal stimulus package for employment and training programs. The. U.S. Department of Labor announced the state’s share of funding Monday. A total $3.5 billion has been allocated to the nation’s work force investment system. Unemployed, underemployed and dislocated workers can obtain career counseling, job search assistance, training and other services from the system’s One-Stop Career Centers.
