Jobing.com, a provider of locally focused job search and recruiting services, will relocate and expand its Tampa Bay office.

The move is necessitated by the region's low unemployment rate, and the resulting rise in the demands from employers for assistance in identifying and recruiting local job candidates, a release said.

The company currently employs eight in Tampa but expects to hire approximately 35 new employees over the next year to strategically address the recruiting and job search needs of its clients within the region.

According to Florida's July labor market statistics, as issued by the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation this past Friday, Florida's July unemployment rate settled at 3.3 percent, compared with 4.8 percent nationally.

Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater reported a jobless rate of 3.4 percent, down from 3.8 percent a year ago, with the region creating 29,000 new jobs during this period. Based on the latest nationwide data, Florida had the fastest job growth rate and lowest unemployment rate of the ten most populous states and added the highest number of new jobs of all states in the nation. The Tampa Bay region remains a leader in the state's economic growth, the jobing.com release said.

Salaries for some of Tampa Bay's most popular jobs are up as well, with high-demand positions in the construction sector, for example, getting a boost from the strong housing market.

Jobing.com's 7,400-square-foot facility will be located at 5301 W. Cypress St. in Tampa. It signed a five-year lease and plans to move in Oct. 30, a release said.

In addition to Florida, Jobing.com provides job search and recruiting services in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. It was founded in Phoenix, and its chief executive officer resides there, but the company does not have one specific corporate headquarters, a spokesman said.
