Fed's Kroszner Says Low Inflation 'Crucial' To Long Term EmploymentAFX News Limited

WASHINGTON - Federal Reserve Board Governor Randall Kroszner reiterated the Fed's main goal of ensuring price stability by keeping inflation and inflation expectations low.
'I think it's crucial to fulfilling our dual mandate' of maximising employment consistent with low inflation, Kroszner told the Senate Banking Committee. Kroszner spoke at a hearing on his confirmation to a new 14-year term on the Fed.
